Heirs of Charkhel incident victims receive cheques

These peoples were part of a convoy of commuters traveling from Parachinar to Peshawar under the supervision of the government. In the Charkhel area of the Lower Kurram the convoy was attacked by the terrorists killing and injuring several people including women. The government had announced financial compensation for the heirs of the martyred and injured people of the Charkhel incident and an amount of Rs.5.1 million was approved in this regard.

The cheques were distributed in a ceremony held in Parachinar, agency headquarters, Kurram Agency. On this occasion, Political Agent, Kurram Agency, Syed Musadiq Shah on behalf of the government handed over cheques of Rs.0.3 million to the heirs of fifteen martyrs included Askar Ali Shah, Syed Noor Hassan Jan, Syed Komail Hussein, Syed Abideen, Syed Tajamul Hussein, Syed Taseer Hussein, Nayyar Hussein, Khadim Ali, Syed Nusrat Hussein, Abbas Ghulam, Khiyal Nisa wife of Khadim Ali, daughter of Samand Ali, Gul Saman wife of Ali Qambar, Amna Sahiba wife of Syed Abid Hussein, Wife of Abbas Ghulam.
